Formed in 2012, the TAC is an “umbrella” organization that facilitates and promotes art groups such as ourselves (Taos Artists Organization). The mission is to promote awareness, understanding, appreciation and development of all Creative Arts including the visual, literary, performing and musical arts. The TAC advocates for the creative arts economy in our Northern New Mexico area and represents the arts to local government for financial support. TAO as the largest visual artist organization cooperated in the inception of TAC and is a partner in exhibitions at Town Hall. Follow the activities at taosartscouncil.org and click on “Events.” Very affordable individual memberships are available. Arts and cultural events may be added to the event calendar by a simple submission on the website.
